The purpose of this survey is to understand your travel to help reduce congestion in Electronic City.
Your answers will be completely confidential and will be used only after aggregating with other responses.
It will take about 15 minutes to complete this survey. We want to make sure that your trips are represented in this important study.
The last page of the survey contains instructions to install an app to log your trips. The app will help reduce the number of questions we ask you.
If you have any questions or comments about the survey, please write to email@example.com
The first 500 respondents to turn in complete and verified responses will receive confirmation to win a surprise token gift. A complete survey is one which is 80 percent filled, and all mandatory questions (those marked with asterisk*) are answered.
For questions about the surprise gift, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 080-4660-2222.
ELCITA is collaborating with researchers at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to explore solutions to Electronics City’s traffic problems. To aid this effort, this survey is being conducted to collect information on your travel behavior (where, when, why, and how you travel) and preferences related to future travel options in the City. The data from this survey will be an important input for evaluating various solutions to traffic problems. Please respond to the survey questions as completely and as accurately as possible.
Researchers of the Center for infrastructure, Sustainable Transport and Urban Planning (CiSTUP) of IISc will analyze this data. Your survey responses will be stored securely and will be combined with responses from a large sample of other individuals to understand travel characteristics of different population groups; for example, different age and income groups.
Do any of your household members come to Electronic City on a regular basis? If yes, please assist us in this effort by forwarding this questionnaire to them if they are 18 years or older.
